God Is Here With Us

I can not begin to even explain how I feel at this moment. I am so worn out from the last 4 days yet I am so pumped and excited about what is happening here in Mexico. Our mission team is made up of 24 folks who are here to be the hands and the feet of Jesus. For some of us this is a return trip while we have several that are joining us for the first time. Those of us who have been here before have been filled with excitement not only to be back with the Angels but to see the new members fall in love with Ciudad de Angeles and all the Angels.
On this trip our focus is ESL. We are teaching the Angels to speak English. This will help them in the future with their education as well as their employment opportunities. The Angels are doing great! They are excited to learn.
We are not only getting to conduct  ESL classes we are also spending time in the pool with Angels, having arts and crafts and playing a lot of games.  In each of these activities we are here to show them LOVE! We want them to never doubt that we love them and that God loves them. These Angels are surrounded on a daily basis with family, house parents and a staff that love them as well.
We closed tonight with a devo. We sang songs(which of course make me cry) and shared how we see God working. It is amazing how we all see God on so many levels here with us working on the Campus as well as on the streets of Mexico.
So knowing that God is here with us, I guess I should say we have 25 team members. I can not forget the most important member. GOD IS HERE WITH US!
