It was only a month ago that I was in Mexico surrounded by the most amazing mission team & children ever!
It is kind of like a wedding. We make plans a year in advance. We work on every detail, every part of the agenda for the week. Then when we get there, it passes way too fast.
There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of the Angels and the staff there at Ciudad. Each and everyone of them is such a blessing to me. I am so glad that my oldest son Preston ask me to join him on the trip 2 years ago. I had a friend tell me that "when you go on a mission trip it will mess you up in the head, it just gets you." Well, my friend was right. But it also got into my HEART in a major way.
If you are wanting something to get in your head, get in your heart, get involved with a group like Ciudad de Angeles. Go on a trip. Sponsor a child. You will be blessed.
I know this is just a random post...but this is what was on my heart tonight. I love and miss all my friends at Ciudad and can not wait to go back again.
