My Heart Stretches All The Way To Mexico

Yes, my heart is stretched from Alabama to Mexico! I received this image via facebook inbox from one of our missionarys on the island. Jose ask her to translate his thoughts into English and then send me the picture. His English is getting better and better. I am so proud of him. I love the attempt at the "pouty face". His smile is still peeking through.
I can not wait to return there to spend a week with him July 2012. I wish it could be sooner but not sure it will happen.
After each visit I make a picture book and send it to the home office in Atlanta with the rest of his Christmas gifts to be delivered by a group that goes in November. I love the opportunities via facebook and snail mail that I have to keep in touch with him.
He is such a blessing to me. He touches my life on so many levels. His smile is amazing. His voice is music to my ears, "I love you Lisa" in his little accent. Oh my, melts my heart everytime. The same heart that stretches all the way to Mexico.
